About the Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS)

The Education Personnel Management Information System (EPMIS) is an initiative under the Transforming Education in Niger State (TENS II) Programme. The primary purpose of the Education Personnel Management Information System is to have a comprehensive dataset of information relating to teachers and other non-academic staff in the State electronically. One of the aims of the State is to move from paper records to having information digitally.

The information collected will enable the Niger State Government to access data quickly to meet the needs of teachers and other professionals, such as non-academic staff in terms of placements, qualifications, training and professional development, accreditations, pensions, promotions, salary payments and other aspects relating to their welfare.
